Assessments
Our research-based assessments are designed to measure effectiveness in diverse situations and to promote a deeper understanding of our own approaches to life and work and how those compare to others.
Getting Started with CQ Assessments - What Are Cultural Values?
Cultural Values (CVs) are preferences people have for how they navigate life. These values indicate how people prefer to interact, communicate, plan, and complete tasks. By understanding and comparing your preferences with the preferences of others, you will develop insights that can help you improve your own interpersonal effectiveness. Cultural Values (CV) preferences are neither good nor bad, rather they describe how you prefer to do things. Learn more about Cultural Values.

utilizing the Cultural Intelligence (CQ) framework
Once you understand your own Cultural Values, you can apply the CQ Framework to improve how you interact and work more effectively with others.
CULTURAL INTELLIGENCE, or CQ®, is a globally recognized way of assessing and improving effectiveness in culturally diverse situations. It’s rooted in rigorous, academic research conducted across more than 100 countries and it’s being used by leading companies, universities, and governments around the world.
Rather than memorizing facts about different cultures and applying stereotypes, CQ gives individuals and organizations a model for diagnosing and responding to complex intercultural situations. Learn more about Cultural Intelligence.
In culturally diverse situations, CQ predicts:
- Personal Adjustment and Adaptability
- Judgement and Decision-Making
- Negotiation Effectiveness
- Trust, Idea-Sharing, and Innovation
- Leadership Effectiveness
- Profitability and Cost Savings
