Kelsey Dery

Senior Client Consultant, Cultural Intelligence Center

Kelsey is responsible for developing current relationships by matching and aligning client’s needs with appropriate solutions, demonstrating how the CQ Center’s research-based products and solutions can resolve their needs. She has a B.A. in Communications from Grand Valley State University and a background working with startup companies as well as experience working in the legal world. She currently resides in Cascais, Portugal with her husband and son.

Maggie Mahoney

Dr. Maggie Mahoney

Director of Global Engagement,
Institute for Global Engagement at the University of Houston

Dr. Maggie Mahoney is the director of global engagement at the University of Houston Institute for Global Engagement. She has over 15 years of experience in higher education. At the University of Houston, Dr. Mahoney leads efforts for strategic internationalisation, including global programme development, study abroad, student global competence development, risk management, and global partnerships. Maggie is a Fulbright Scholar for India, having completed the International Education Administrator’s programme. She earned an EdD in ethical leadership from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, a master’s degree in education in higher education administration from The University of Texas at Austin, and a BA in French from the Centenary College of Louisiana.

Cheri DeClercq

Dr. Cheri DeClercq

Assistant Dean,
Graduate Initiatives & Academic Innovation at Michigan State University

Cheri DeClercq is a strategic, results-based leader with over 15 years of leadership success in higher education. Driven by a passion to help others reach their full potential, she is known for her collaborative leadership and ability to achieve goals.

DeClercq joined Michigan State University’s Broad College of Business in 2008, working with the Weekend/Executive MBA programme. She was instrumental in evolving and expanding the programme, and this success led to broader leadership roles within the college. She currently serves as a member of the Dean’s team, focusing on MBA/MS programmes, Marketing, and the Broad Strategic Initiative on Culture/Climate (DEI). Externally, she consistently contributes to the graduate management education industry through board service and thought leadership. Her teaching experience is in the areas of global business and strategy.

Chad

Chad Goeden

Associate Director,
International Student Programs at Columbia University

Chad is the Associate Director for International Student Programmes at Columbia University. In his role as head of the Programming team, he develops programmes designed to build community and support the overall success of Columbia’s international student population: objectives that he and the team achieve by delivering events aimed at fostering inclusion and belonging, developing intercultural humility, and promoting leadership and global mindfulness.

Chad holds over 20 years of experience in the field of international, global, and intercultural education. He is a teacher by training and has lived, studied, and worked in the U.S., Germany, Ukraine, and South Korea. These experiences have taught him unique intercultural perspectives that can be seen in his work with ISSO.
