Our Founders


Dr. David Livermore and Dr. Linn Van Dyne co-founded the Cultural Intelligence Center with a shared mission: to empower individuals and organizations to thrive in an increasingly diverse world through the science of Cultural Intelligence (CQ®). Their pioneering research, including the development and validation of the CQ® Scale, laid the groundwork for CQ® as a globally recognized framework for navigating cultural complexity. Drawing on decades of academic leadership, hands-on experience, and global impact, from Fortune 500 companies and government agencies to universities and NGOs, they translated rigorous research into practical, actionable strategies. They continue to guide the CQ® Center’s long-term vision and research agenda, advancing the global impact of Cultural Intelligence.
