We invite you to our next complimentary webinar, Advancing Inclusion and Accessibility with CQ. In a turbulent global work world, the ability to relate across cultures and past differences is crucial. A recent survey found that the main reasons why recent graduates are being skipped over by HR and business leaders are a lack of real-world experience (60%), a lack of a global mindset (57%), struggles with teamwork (55%), and a lack of the necessary skill sets (51%). In this 60-minute live event, we will explore how the University of Victoria has implemented Cultural Intelligence into Work-Integrated Learning programs, helping to drive accessibility and inclusion.

The CQ Center’s own Benjamin Krzywicki (Marketing and Content Manager) will be joined by the University of Victoria’s Karima Ramji (Executive Director, Co-operative Education Program and Career Services), Niels Melis-De Lamper (Accessibility and Inclusion Co-op & Career Coordinator), and Sarah McQuillan (International Co-op & Career Coordinator) for this discussion.

Bringing a background in project management, program administration, inclusion, and supporting young adults in navigating barriers towards employment, Niels is excited to be part of UVic Co-op and Career Services’ International, Indigenous and Accessibility team with a focus on accessibility and inclusion. Invested in clearing the pathway towards participation in Work Integrated Learning (WIL) for students who identify as being part of underrepresented groups.
