Our Cultural Intelligence (CQ®) for Teams Train-The-Trainer course instructs facilitators how to lead our Cultural Intelligence (CQ®) for Teams Workshop, a highly interactive program that helps team members develop the skills they need to collaborate more effectively.
The CQ for Teams Train-The-Trainer course shares facilitator information about proven strategies for increasing collaboration across cultural differences (multinational, generational, ethnic, organizational, etc.) It offers ideas to trainers for applying the CQ model for working across diverse cultural setting, and practical case studies and strategies for using cultural intelligence to enhance team innovation and outcomes.
The course includes a comprehensive set of resources to lead the CQ for Teams workshop, including the workshop slide-deck, digital participant guide, and activity templates.
Prerequisite: CQ Certification
Course registration closes 14 days prior to the event start date or before if space is filled.

The registration fee is valid for one person, is non-refundable, and valid for 12 months from the purchase date. We will allow a registrant the ability to transfer their registration to another available session within their 12 months of purchase, so long as written (email) notice is provided to the CQ Center. An administrative fee of $250 / £200 / €230 per program will be applied to each date/time transfer.
It is the responsibility of the registrant to inform the CQ Center of any changes to personal information, especially name, shipping address, email address, etc.
If a registrant fails to attend a course and no written notice is provided before the course starts, that individual will be considered a “no-show” and will be required to pay an administrative fee of $250 / £200 / €230 per program to reschedule/transfer to a new date/time.
We reserve the right to cancel a Certification session 20 days out, in which case notice will be provided to all registrants and a one-time free transfer to an alternative date will be provided.
Full attendance to the program is required to receive your certification. Participants who miss more than 30 minutes of a program will need to attend the missed portions at a future program to be considered certified and receive their materials, resources, and credentials.
Our programs include presentations of concepts, live discussions, and other group activities, all of which are crucial to deepening your understanding of Cultural Intelligence and the ability to help others develop their CQ. Should you realize you will not be able to dedicate your full attention to the session, be it virtual or in person, please plan to attend a different date/time.
By registering for any program, you consent to receiving important emails regarding your course and other marketing and/or promotional emails from which you can unsubscribe at any time.
For virtual sessions, we advise participants to select a location that provides privacy, confidentiality, and psychological safety for other attendees.
The content of our programs is proprietary, and our sessions typically involve discussion of sensitive and/or personal topics. To protect our intellectual property, the confidentiality of personal examples, and the privacy of our participants, the use of recording devices is not permitted in our virtual or in-person sessions. Selecting the ‘Choose my date later’ option allows the purchaser to select a session, within 12 months of purchase date, at a later date. Please note, date/time availability is subject to open seats and capacity.
Requests for refunds: all registration fees are nonrefundable unless a written request for a refund is submitted within 7 days of the purchase date that is listed on the registration form. Requests for refunds can be submitted to info@culturalq.com.
Important note: Please ensure you have completed or registered for CQ Certification prior to purchasing a Train-the-Trainer program. Part A: Foundations must be completed before purchasing Part B, unless you’re buying both parts at the same time.
The first session of all Train-the-Trainer certifications are the same and only need to be taken once.
The second session of the Train-the-Trainer certification teaches you how to deliver a specific workshop.
