The Human Element: Why Cultural Intelligence is Key to the Future of Work

Join us for a vibrant discussion on the need for Cultural Intelligence in the workforce and in our personal lives.

Description:  The advent of automation and AI has instigated a seismic transformation in the nature of work. Repetitive, routine tasks are being delegated to machines, while complex, interpersonal tasks are left to human intervention. As remote work becomes the new norm, the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively is more vital than ever before. Furthermore, the global workforce is becoming increasingly diverse, with individuals from a variety of cultures, backgrounds, and experiences collaborating together. The global migration situation has become painfully dynamic, influenced by a broad range of factors, such as political, economic, social, and environmental drivers, in addition to ongoing challenges and risks experienced by migrants.

It has become increasingly apparent that the need for Cultural Intelligence development is a global imperative across a broad spectrum of industries and job types. Without a comprehensive understanding of how to navigate culturally diverse workforces, it is impossible to develop crucial interpersonal and communication skills, critical thinking, creativity, adaptability, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Cultural Intelligence Center & Quiet Tenacity Inc. invite you to participate in a vibrant discussion on the measures that can be taken at both personal and organizational levels to prepare for the impending changes in the workplace and in our personal lives.

Founder, Quiet Tenacity
With over 20 years of experience in learning program design and delivery, Inna Tuka is a seasoned training and development professional. After moving to Canada from Ukraine in 2010, Ms.Tuka began working at the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA), the largest regulatory HR Association in Canada.

During their time at the HRPA, Ms. Tuka became acutely aware of the difficulties that Internationally Educated Professionals (IEPs) face when trying to relaunch their careers in a new country. A lack of cultural awareness, humility, and curiosity were observed to have negative effects on individuals, teams, and companies. This inspired Ms. Tuka to establish Quiet Tenacity Inc., a consulting agency focused on bridging the divide between culturally diverse employees and employers and helping them develop their cultural intelligence.

Ms. Tuka has extensive expertise in several fields, including education, professional development, learning design, change management, human resources management, workplace diversity, human rights, project management, communication, event strategy, and global dexterity.

With a focus on cultural curiosity development, Ms.Tuka is dedicated to helping individuals, teams, and companies navigate the challenges of operating in a culturally diverse global workforce. Ms. Tuka accomplishes this by developing innovative training programs and providing consulting services, empowering Quiet Tenacity clients to embrace cultural differences and build strong, diverse, and inclusive teams.
